    AA Mail Server is an easy-to-use SQL based mail server software for Win2000/WinXP/Win2003. It is great for small to medium sized business (1-20000 users) to build their own mail servers. You can install and configure AA Mail Server very easy. When follows below detailed instructions for installation, you can make email service ready as quickly as within 1 minute.
     

    Step 1. Choose Your Database.

    AA Mail Server supports Microsoft Access and SQL Server databases. You can choose proper database version according to your business volume. Ususally SQL Server 2005 Standard edition is recommended for most cases, while Access Database or SQL Server 2000 MSDE/2005 Express are good for product trial or small business.

     Microsoft Access database Needing not install, just skip this step.
     SQL Server 2000 MSDE AA Mail Server can auto download & install it for you during setup.
     SQL Server 2000 Standard/Enterprise edition You install it yourself.
     SQL Server 2005 Express/Standard/Enterprise edition You install it yourself.

    Step 2. Install AA Mail Server.

    It is very easy to install AA Mail Server, you just need to click "Next" always until install finished. AA Mail Server setup wizard will startup if it is first run. Choose your database type, input SQL Server connection parameter (if it's SQL Server), and then you can always click "Next" to finish setup. Followings are detail instructions for AA Mail Server setup wizard.

    Step 3. Configure to Receive/Send/Manage Mails.

    After entering main interface of AA Mail Server, you can create domains and accounts. Then you can help your staff to configure Outlook Express to send/receive mails, or help them to login Webmail. Please remember to open port 25/110/80 in your server's firewall. From now, your mail service for local network is ready.

    Step 4. Tryout some Major Features of AA Mail Server.

    Changing domain MX to this server (via your ISP domain control panel), you can make it an Internet mail server. If your server is behind a router, remeber to make port forwarding 25/110/80 from router to the server. You can click "Diagnose" button on toolbar to diagnose server status.
