How to Update to Latest Version of AA Mail Server?
AA Mail Server will be continuously improved to meet new requirements and fix bugs. So you are always recommended to upgrade to latest version. Following below instructions, it's very easy and safe to upgrade from old version to new version of AA Mail Server.
- Step 1. Download latest version from our site.
- Step 2. Uninstall older version firlsty (Required step, will not destroy data).
- Step 3. Re-install new version into original folder.
- Step 4. Startup new version, upgrade will be auto completed.
How to Upgrade from Access Database to SQL Server?
You can build your mail server with Access database firstly, and upgrade to SQL Server database later when your business growing up. Before starting, you are suggested to click "Settings->Compact Access database" to compact and fix Access databases firstly.
- Step 1. Click "Operation->Upgrade from Access edition", and click "Continue".
- Step 2. AA Mail Server will auto-restart and requires you input SQL Server parameters.
- Step 3. After startup, "Upgrade from Access edition" dialog will be auto-shown.
- Step 4. Click "Start" to start import settings, domains, accounts and mails from Access databases.
- Step 5. After finish, you can check dbs/aamailsvr.log for upgrading details.
